The founding Partners to Business Life are the University of Warwick Science Park and Warwick Business School.

The Science Park, a joint venture between the University of Warwick, Coventry City Council, Warwickshire County Council and West Midlands Enterprise, grew up in the 1980s to become one of the leading projects of its kind in Europe.

To date the Science Park has worked with over 1,000 businesses helping them to get started, develop, grow and in some cases become a significant feature of the West Midlands business landscape. It is also home to many international businesses.

The University of Warwick, ranked in the top 10 in the UK, has a high reputation for teaching and research across the arts, humanities science and engineering. The Science Park takes its lead from this breadth welcoming those with ideas from any part of the spectrum of knowledge.

Warwick Business School is a leading thought-developer and innovator in the top one per cent of global business schools. Our students come from 136 countries to learn at all levels. WBS educates and develops global citizens, and promotes new knowledge to benefit business and society.

The SME Centre within the Business School came to prominence under the leadership of David Storey, the Nobel Prize winner for small business research who recruited Professor Roger Mumby-Croft. Roger has been given the task of reaching out from the Business School to the world of enterprise and entrepreneurship lying within the university and beyond.

Roger along with David have been the prime movers in bringing Business Life into being as a major resource for all entrepreneurs and enterprise owners in the West Midlands.
