The BUSINESS LIFE team is led by David Rowe BSc MBA MCMI who is a Holder of The Queen's Award for Enterprise Promotion Lifetime Achievement and the Director of University of Warwick Science Park (UWSP), one of Europe's premier, University-linked Science Parks. When he started UWSP, there were just 100 small, knowledge-based firms in the sub-region. Now there are more than 1,000 - around half of which have been supported by a wide range of often groundbreaking, enterprise promotion activities developed by David.
In each of the last six years, between 50 and 70 per cent of the fastest growing hightech companies in Coventry and Warwickshire have been based at UWSP. David has put systems into place to help small businesses access funding, find investment, develop their markets and work with under-graduates and recent graduates - all of which have helped firms to grow quicker.
Now David has brought together an accredited educational programme and combined that with experienced mentors from the Regional Development Agency (RDA) area of Advantage West Midlands. The result is BUSINESS LIFE, a proven package of support for all new and young businesses, and self-employed people in the wider community.
David's team is full of experience - meet just a few of the team:
