The Programme

The BUSINESS LIFE programme is university-accredited and has been proven to work with first time business owners. The full programme comprises 64 modules with fact sheets and templates which can be downloaded from the Members' Area of this website.

The modules assume no prior knowledge and are written in an engaging style. They explain the process of enterprise - how to run a business - in a logical sequence. The programme can be accessed at any time when starting and running and growing a new or young business. Business mentoring is also available from the BUSINESS LIFE team in the form of e-mentoring, but if you would like some face to face mentoring as well, just call us and we will talk over with you what we can do.

As the programme progresses over one year, the member is asked to develop three documents: (i) business plan and cash flow forecast, (ii) mid-year financial forecast after six months and (iii) a new business plan for growth in year two. Templates are provided for all of these documents. Whilst this is sensible business practise, BUSINESS LIFE takes these documents as "assignments" to a university such that members can, for example, get tutor feedback on the business plan before asking the Bank Manager for an overdraft. And satisfactory submission of all three assignments can lead to a university qualification: the Certificate in Small Business Management.

The full e-mentored BUSINESS LIFE programme fee is £595 exclusive of VAT, which covers the 64 modules and full e-mentoring and feedback from professional advisers throughout the programme. When registering, you can choose to pay £38 per month by direct debit for the 16 months of the programme or send a cheque for £595 exclusive of VAT.
